Hi.

Here we are! Sunset and Camden!

Year of Yes

Year of Yes

A couple of years ago*, my friend Molly promoted the Year of Yes. I was completely on board. And then...

::TRUE LIFE INTERLUDE::

I may have just looked at Haley and said "Remember when Molly said "The Year of Yes?" What were we supposed to be saying "yes" to?"

::NOW BACK TO IT::

So clearly I was all in...whenever that was.

What I'm finding in 2015 is that I can reflectively see that I've been having the Year of Yes now. It's not so much that I've done tons of new and exciting things - there've been a few of those, sure - but I feel like I'm doing more. Don't worry, I'm not ready to let go of that "I" in INFP just yet, but I'm not hoarding as much time**, or being picky about the flow of my week.

So...what's different about this year than last? Is there confidence in 33 (which I have labeled my "Jesus year" while reflexively ducking and looking for lightning bolts)? Was "starting" the year (in February) with a new, largely social event the best possible thing I could do? I don't know. But it seems to be working for me. I guess?

To the untrained eye, I'm sure I seem like I am living the same way I have been the past six or seven years. But I can tell a difference. There is a difference.

So. What do you suggest I do to keep up the momentum? (Spoiler alert: I'll probably say yes.)

*maybe last year, let's be honest, my memory isn't what it once was

**consequently, I also haven't read as many books, but we don't have to talk about that

^don't downplay this one, y'all
